Our 2024 EMEA regional members meeting weill take place at The Alex Hotel in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday, 21st June. The meeting is open to all BOKS members, but specifically caters for those firms in the EMEA region.

This is designed as a fly-in event, with the meeting within a single day. An optional dinner and drinks will take place on the evening of Thursday 20th, at 7pm, giving delegates ample time to network and catch up, and there is also an optional tour on Saturday, 22nd June.

Technical Meetings

Technical meetings for Tax & Audit will run on Thursday 20th June and can be selected as part of the registration process for a small additional fee. The meetings and agenda will be led by our related Special Interest Groups.

Optional Extras

Optional extras are available to members as part of the conference package. These can be chosen during registration on a per-delegate basis. These include Thursday & Friday Night Dinners and a sightseeing tour of some of the key tourist destinations in the local area.

Social Attendance

A social option is also available to spouses and family members during the conference hours. This can be booked using the “Guest” option during registration and can the above extras are also available.

Fees & Deadlines

The standard registration fee for Delegates is €1080. An early registration discount applies for those who register before 9th February. For those who register after 17th April, a late registration charge applies. A further discount is available when registering additional delegates.

Andrew Armes

Leadership Development Expert

Andrew has over 25 years of blue-chip HR experience working in the field of HR strategy, leadership and organisational development. His corporate roles have included Vice President for Talent Management and HR Strategy for the engineering conglomerate Invensys, and Head of Resourcing and Talent Management at AstraZeneca UK. In a similar leadership role at Roche, the global biotech, between 2016 and 2021 he took the company from obscurity to the best big company to work for by delivering science based ground-breaking approaches to the engagement and management of company employees.

 

He has also been a director at the Leadership Development charity Common Purpose, designing and delivering bespoke cross-industry leadership development programs. He is a multiple recruitment and employment branding award winner and has spent many years working on mergers and acquisitions in different geographies and the cultural integration projects that sit behind them. An author, coach and facilitator, he has been voted twice in the top 100 most influential HR professionals by HR Magazine.

 

He is currently a founding partner at Emei Consulting Ltd. He and the team at Emei work with clients of all sizes and complexities from The BBC, Nike and National Grid to a whole range of SMEs on their people strategies.
