It is with great pleasure that BOKS International welcomes LowLands Accounting Services into the alliance. LowLands is a Dutch-owned company with a head office in Moscow established in 2012 by Lodewijk Schlingemann and Walter van Dijk, business partners of Dutch origin who have been living and working in Russia since the late 1990s.

LowLands provides a range of accounting services ranging from executing specific accounting tasks to the complete outsourcing of the accounting process, as well as payrolling and tax consultancy. The firm specialises in supporting foreign companies doing business in Russia.

Walter van Dijk says: “After we as business partners bundled our accounting and tax practice back in 2012, we have seen that our commitment to a no-nonsense, high quality, ultra-responsive service delivery, has led to a substantial growth of our business in Russia. Having grown into an established services provider with a team of 20 professionals and offices in both Moscow and St. Petersburg, we felt that an alliance membership would be the next step in our development. With BOKS International we feel we have joined an alliance of like-minded members, with whom we look forward to cooperating. Both in providing our internationally operating clients with the option of being referred to members that commit to the same level of quality and responsiveness in other countries, as well as in providing other members with the possibility to support their clients with opening and developing the challenging but not less rewarding Russian market.”

Alliance Director, Richard Sergeant at BOKS International, says: “With the appointment of LowLands into BOKS International, our alliance demonstrates its commitment to developing our representation in Eastern Europe. LowLands is a well-established and highly regarded firm in the region that will provide our members and their clients with expert guidance when doing business in the Russian Federation.”
