On 3 December 2020, TC Group’s Andy Perrett was invited to contribute to a webinar organized by the Malta Institute of Accountants, focused on “Going Digital”. In his presentation, Andy explained how the UK’s HMRC made a complete digital switch and highlighted the main benefits and “pains” suffered along the way. He also gave the Maltese accountants some fantastic tips to get ready and embrace digitalization.
Mark Wirth, Director at Mint Finance (a Maltese BOKS Member) also participated in the webinar and discussed the great benefits of shifting to cloud-based accounting systems.
Following the success of this event, the team at Mint Finance are planning to arrange more similar events for their clients in which they will promote the benefits of digital accounting, and draw on the experience of some of their fellow BOKS members.
