Our latest Spotlight is on Alliance Group Central America, a leading auditing, accounting, and financial consulting firm with a strong regional presence made up of professionals with extensive experience and track records. Gracia Seirra answers our questions.

  1. In your opinion, what is the future for your profession?
The future of accounting, auditing and consulting is being shaped by rapid technological change, evolving client demands, regulatory shifts, and global economic transformation. Upskilled technological data, and soft skills while staying client-focused and ethically grounded will ensure relevance and success. AI should be seen as a partner, not as a replacement. Leadership, communication, empathy, and critical thinking remain irreplaceable.

  2. What is your growth strategy?
Our growth strategy is based on increasing value delivery and efficiency with technology and specialisation. Develop strategic partnerships; grow client base beyond the current region while maintaining service quality; build a future team and reduce turnover in a competitive market. Build brand visibility, trust, and long-term client relationships.

  3. Where do you see your firm 5 years from now?
In 5 years, we see our firm as being a trusted regional leader in accounting, audit, and financial advisory services, powered by innovation, guided by purpose, and committed to delivering smarter, more strategic solutions for our clients and communities. Known for proactive service, not reactive support, client-oriented and high-value long-term strategic partnerships, not transactional.

  4. What is your biggest challenge?
Staying relevant and competitive in a rapidly changing, technology-driven environment, while maintaining trust, talent and profitability. It is not easy to balance innovation with core service excellence, retaining talent, and at the same time, meeting evolving client needs, all while navigating tighter margins and regulatory complexity.

  5. What percentage of your work is international?
Approximately 30% of our work is done internationally, across the Central American region, as we share clients in Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica.

  6. What business advisory services do you offer?
Compliance with accounting, auditing, consulting, tax, and local regulation in each of the countries where we operate. We also provide services such as financial advisory, tax planning, business strategies, capital in sourcing through debt, equity or other financial instruments, process improvement, better margins strategies and business valuation.

  7. What was your main driver for being a part of BOKS International?
The main drive for joining BOKS International was the strategic advantage of being part of a community that can provide access to international business opportunities, resources, expertise, network and enhanced credibility and reputation. Since our focus is market expansion, innovation, credibility, and collaboration, we believe that independent membership can serve as our catalyst for business growth and success.

  8. Where do you see BOKS International 5 years from now?
If BOKS International continues to grow and evolve, five years from now, we could imagine it playing a pivotal role in connecting businesses, professionals and entrepreneurs across global markets. BOKS could position itself as a globally recognized leader in facilitating cross-border business collaboration, growth and innovation, while remaining highly adaptable to the shifting economic, social and technological landscapes.

  9. How do you describe your typical client?
Small and medium-size businesses, both local and regional, within the services sector and manufacturing industries.

  10. How do you target clients who are looking for international services?
Targeting clients who are looking for international services requires a defined strategy that in our case combines digital marketing, partnerships and relationship-building. We let them know that part of our strength comes from being a “regional block”, composed of 5 countries, very similar to, but different at the same time.

  11. Do you specialise in a particular sector or service?
Not particularly. A great percentage of our clients come from two sectors: Manufacturing and Service Industries.
