10. Tell us about a recent international assignment.
A leading Chinese digital marketplace partnered with AVASK to support its expansion into European markets, where Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations posed a significant compliance challenge. With a vast and diverse product catalogue, the client needed a reliable way to classify items for EPR reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

AVASK developed a custom classification engine that integrated HS codes and EPR-relevant attributes, enabling automated and accurate product categorisation. This solution streamlined reporting, reduced manual workload, and ensured full compliance with local environmental regulations—laying the groundwork for confident, scalable growth in Europe.

11. How do you target clients looking for international services?
We connect with international clients through strategic partnerships, industry events, and client referrals.

12. Do you specialise in a particular sector or service?
Yes — AVASK specialises in indirect tax compliance. As a global leader, our expertise spans VAT, Sales Tax, GST, Customs, and EPR regulations, all supported by our proprietary tax technology platforms designed for global scalability and precision.
