In your opinion, what is the future for the accounting profession?
In the light of the increasing digitalisation professional legal services will have to focus more and more on practical solutions of complex and inter-disciplinary legal as well as tax problems of the clients as well as on the effective litigation. Therefore, the legal profession will become more demanding over the next years.

What is your growth strategy?
Being a rather small law firm specialised on small and medium-sized companies as well as wealthy individuals for company law, tax law, litigation as well as offering full service legal advice for entrepreneurs, we will continue to capitalise on a strong network with other law firms, CPAs and tax consultants with whom we will continue to expand our business. Our strongest marketing tool remains the positive referral from our clients.

Where do you see your firm 5 years from now?
We expect a moderate, but sustainable growth over the next five years.

What is your biggest challenge?
There is no specific issue since we are working in a well-established network of clients and other consultants.

What percentage of your work is international?
As an overall estimate our international work is within a range of 30 to 40%, with an increasing amount international business.

What business advisory services do you offer?
The variety of services and expertise can be seen from our homepage. The main focus is on corporate law and tax law as well as on litigation.

What was your main driver for being part of BOKS International?
The interdisciplinary international network between CPAs, tax consultant and attorneys-at-law makes perfect sense for our law firm, particularly since we have been doing this on a national basis for many years.

Where do you see BOKS International 5 years from now?
This depends on the international development of the international markets as well as the strategic approach BOKS will follow on a global basis, i.e. expanding the network in the USA, Asia as well as in European countries with an well-established network of double tax treaties, such as the Netherlands or Switzerland.

Tell us about a recent international assignment
Cross-border merger between Germany and the Czech Republic in order to capitalize on Czech tax law allowing to absorb German losses in the Czech jurisdiction.

How do you target clients who are looking for international services?
Basically by our network with other law firms, CPAs, tax consultant and our international legal network as well as by referrals. There is no activity established in pro-active client targeting.

Do you specialise in a particular sector or service?
Corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations of groups, shareholder disputes, national tax law and international tax law.
